In Formula 1, 'street circuits' repurpose existing roads in a city to create a racetrack for the Grand Prix weekend. Usually, they fence off the roads they will use, and place temporary stands so fans can watch. They generally have a significantly narrower track than most Formula 1 circuits. These are distinct from Formula 1's 'track circuits,' which use existing speedways within stadiums as racetracks. In the 2026 Race Calendar, one quarter of the races are due to take place on street circuits; Saudi Arabia (Jeddah), Miami, Monaco, Singapore, Azerbaijan (Baku), and Las Vegas.
